How to get started with NOVA Smart Search (viewing and logging)

Log in to arrive to your video editing dashboard. Is this your first time logging in? Then your account already contains an example video which you can test the platform with. To work on your own videos you will need to upload them.





Click on the Add Videos button on the top right corner to upload a new video.





You can drag and drop your videos, or click in the window to select from your computer.





Once uploaded, click the cog to adjust your settings. You can:

Change the name of your video (important note on this below, please read)
Add a description
Select your content's language or leave it on autodetect
Select if you want to analyse automatically now, or later
Select any Collection folders to analyse on (see our article on Collections for more info on this one)
Set which categories do you want to analyse (see our article on Categories for more info)

Once all set, click the confirm button and wait for your content to be analysed.

If you rename your video you will have to rename your original file on your computer to the same name. Otherwise they will not match later when you download your footage from NOVA.
